Nido Migration is a business name of Dhara Sumeet Sajwani (ABN 12 753 410 261), based in Queensland. Our registered migration agent's MARN is 2318121. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Nido Migration.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy covers our website www.nidomigration.com.au, our social media accounts, and the lead forms in our Facebook and Instagram ads.

If you go on to become a client, we will give you separate information about how we handle the documents and details we need for your matter.

What we collect and how

We collect only the details you choose to give us when you get in touch:

• your email address

• your phone number

• your answers to any questions on the form, such as the country you live in, your occupation or your years of experience

We collect these details when you:

• fill in a lead form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads (Meta passes the details you submit to us)

• fill in an enquiry or contact form on our website

• message us on social media, email us or call us

Please don't send us identity documents, health details or other sensitive information through these forms.

How we use it

We use your contact details to:

• reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation if you want one

• tell you about migration pathways and services that may suit you

• send you migration news and updates, if you have agreed to receive them

• understand which of our ads and content are working, so we can improve them

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your contact details.

Overseas. Information you submit through a Facebook or Instagram lead form is handled by Meta, which stores data in the United States and other countries. Apart from that, we store your contact details in Australia.

Opting out. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, you can reply STOP to a text message, or you can email info@nidomigration.com.au. We will stop sending you marketing as soon as we can, and within 5 business days.

Cookies and analytics. Our website uses cookies and similar tools to work properly and to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are viewed and how people found us. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

Advertising. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may use information about your activity to show you our ads and to tell us how they perform. Meta's own privacy policy explains how it handles your information, and you can change your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

Storage and how long we keep it

We store your contact details securely in password-protected systems, and only people who need them to contact you can see them.

We keep your details while we are in touch with you, and for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. After that, we securely delete them.

Access, correction and complaints

Access and correction. You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email us and we will reply within 30 days, free of charge.

Complaints. If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first. We will look into it and give you a written response within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
